Meister Hutmacher has a modest hat store in an Alpine region of Austria. Even when he was little he would dedicate his body and soul to the making of hats, first by helping his father, and then on his very own. He has made them in every kind, shape and size, and even so he doesn't tire of them.

But as well as normal ever day hats, Meister Hutmacher specializes in the design and fabrication of “Controlling Hats”. Each one of these hats has a complicated mechanism in its interior made for the transformation of thoughts of the wearer, and carries this out in sound waves of a specific frequency,  different to each species whom h wishes to control. Said waves create a hypnotic effect to those who receive it, claiming control of them.

His last hat was ordered nearby farmer. He wants it to control ladybirds. Sick of losing his harvesting to a plague year after year, he thought it would be great to control an army of ladybugs that could kill it. Finally, after all, is there a better predator for these pesky plagues?
