| The dream of someday becoming like his mother and being able to torment humans is still far away. For now, Osvi is satisfied to enjoy his long periods in bed, which his mother always prepares for him, hard the way he likes it, and dream. Of course, he doesn’t have the typical dreams of other kids his age which makes their nights fly by. Osvi dreams of other things. Maybe skulls and flying unicorn-dogs disturb the sleep of other kids, but sheep are what keep him awake and make him cry. The howls of suffering souls and incessant barking, on the other hand, totally relax him. He can’t stand the sound of ordinary rattles or the sweet melody of a music box. Well, maybe if it were playing a Requiem it would put him to sleep. |
