They were “Mr. Nobodies,”
totally unknown, though they never lost hope of being able to fill some club
with the coolest fans by playing the best Rock and Roll. They always prayed to
God, but he wasn’t listening, he always liked Pop much more, so they began
praying to the Devil. And one fine day they’re prayers were answered. Satan
himself appeared in the dressing room. The Deal: He’d help them fill the
world’s biggest club and they’d give an epic performance.
From then on, in exchange, they’d have to play in Hell for all eternity, to
mark the working rhythm of the souls punished there. They’d never again stop,
never again rest, but they’d have an eternal public who would move to the
rhythms they laid down.
