About the concept

The concept consists in the creation and development of fun, one-of-a-kind Characters and their marketing in all kinds of formats: t-shirts , hoodies , jumpers , posters , etc. It’s a world of ideas come to life in the form of strange beings. We create them, but once conceived, they produce their own stories and experience their own adventures.

A little history

The company was launched on July 1st, 2004, though the idea arose many months before, around October of 2003. At that time we gathered together a group of friends and with little money but a lot of enthusiasm, we gave birth to the beast.

After that, and under the name Experimental Mambo we attended trade fairs where we confirmed at first hand that our Characters were well-received and surprised everyone. We sold to various stores and from our then “primitive” Website. All this led us to decide to take the leap, and in 2006 we fully committed ourselves to the idea.

And now, in 2007, ha ha, we laugh and wonder why on earth we made the leap. We had to change the name, we put everything we had into creating the new Website and we’ve trekked through half the country promoting the brand… Thank goodness our enthusiasm remains intact and the thing just keeps growing and growing.

About the Team

Some day not too far in the future, our Characters will be everywhere, surprising people, making them talk, laugh… They’ll ask themselves where on earth these strange creatures came from, and just who’s behind such bizarre notions. Well, at the moment there are 4 of us behind this World:

Hernán Carpintero: He’s responsible for making sure that there are always products available to fulfill your orders and that they arrive correctly. If you have a problem, he’s the one who will help you. As he’s from Argentina, he has an Argentinean accent, and, well, it’s very pleasing to the ears, and worth taking advantage of. Paco Pereira "ketodico": He’s got the best job, because he spends his days drawing like a little kid and attending Design, Comic, and Animation Fairs…you know, not real work. But then, if he didn’t do the drawing, Néstor would, and then we’d all be in hot water. Néstor Tejero: He’s the team heavyweight, the one who eggs on the others and takes care of the serious business, negotiating and talking with everyone…and what’s more, he loves everything about running a company.
